April - June 2013 Patter Hellstrom is on view at SQUARE headquarters in San Francisco. Eighteen of her works grace the public spaces there inspiring the innovative workforce with color, light and energy.

Abstract Notions in the project gallery at ARTHAUS Gallery in the San Francisco tech corridor uses a new diptych 4 feet x 6 feet, titled Twin Impulses as it's signature piece. Also on view are the Intimate Landscapes in acrylic ink on polypropylene. These banded landscapes reflect upon the Asian concept of heaven/earth/humanity, which employes vision, practically and resourcefulness in creating a successful world outlook.

January 2013 Hellstrom exhibited nine paintings on polypropylene in Meditative Flow. The exhibit presented an abstract and prismatic works by San Francisco based artist Patter Hellstrom, unlocking the flow of color and emotion. Exhibit ran January 2 - 30st with a reception January 4th from 7-9PM. See digital catalog in the picture gallery.

Patter Hellstrom, one of the launch artists for the Art tech startup Artify It - a new concept in art. Artify It provides monthly access to original high-quality art in San Francisco. Curated and professionally installed, the diverse art offered makes Artify It unique and innovative.

SEPTEMBER 2012 - JANUARY 2013 Honoring Women's Rights: Visual Voices Together at National Steinbeck Center Museum, Salinas CA (catalog available) Exhibit jurred by Dr. Joyce Aiken, Dr. Ruth Weisberg and Patricia Rodriquez is concurrent with a conference. In the continuum of history, places and ideas change, yet a tangible quality remains. My project knits together the past while engaging the present in seeking an elusive balance with permanence. ABSTRACTION takes center stage at Chicago's Gallery Guichard. The exhibition "Abstract Visions" was selected by gallery owner and National Curator for the Rush Foundation & Sapphire Artisan Series Awards - Andre Guichard. Hellstrom has four works included in this exhibition.

ArtHaus Gallery in San Francisco celebrates women artists from New York and California in December 2011. Patter remains a guest artist with ArtHaus Gallery.

The McLoughlin Gallery, 49 Geary San Francisco, exhibited a solo exhibition of Hellstrom's work from August-September 2011.

May 19th - 22nd 2011 The McLoughlin Gallery presented Hellstrom's work at two fairs in San Francisco. The San Francisco Fine Art Fair highlighted contemporary and modern art with a focus on California galleries while SF Art Pad was a cutting edge contemporary fair held at the Hotel Phoenix.

FLOW: The Essence of Paint exhibition at ARC Gallery, San Francisco, June 2011. ARC Gallery included new large-scale work by Patter Hellstrom in FLOW in San Francisco. This national exhibition curated by Andre Rozanoff speaks to the Flow movement building on the West Coast and tactile qualities of paint.

Flower Mandala: Recognizing Beauty was created by Patter Hellstrom for the Unilever campus in Trumbull CT. It was a sculptural installation of 500 individually placed fresh flowers on a 4ft base in a concentric circular design.

Patter Hellstrom exhibited this series of intimate panel paintings at the Mina Dresden Gallery in San Francisco. Chhatra relates to the eight auspicious symbols seen in Tibetan Buddhism. The parasol (Chhatra) reference used in this work relates to protection; keeping beings from harm such as sun, illness, harmful forces, and obstacles. Curated by Lynnore Goldfarb, the show was an investigation of the ideas and patterns that surface while artists create new bodies of work.

Alan Bamberger of ArtBusiness.com says of recent Linearis Institute exhibition CHANCE WIND..."the Linearis Institute, formerly the Masterworks Institute for Works on Paper relocates to tony Maiden Lane, and celebrates the incarnation with a show of direct confident unequivocal Zen-like abstracts on yupo (plastic) paper by Patter Hellstrom".

74 New Montgomery Lofts / San Francisco was established in 1914, and now a City landmark, The Montgomery offers a unique collection of residences located in the most dynamic neighborhoods in San Francisco. Works by Patter Hellstrom were on display in the public areas through March 2009.
